For several days, people have been asking me for dietary supplements to increase muscle mass and gain weight, therefore I will be writing short reviews about products that athletes commonly use not only to increase muscle volume and weight, but also to improve sports performance. On this occasion I want to talk to you about CASEIN.
Casein is one of the two proteins found in milk; the other is called whey protein. Milk has between 3% and 3.5% of protein and casein represents about 80% of that total.
Casein is a complete protein source as it provides all the amino acids essential for muscle growth and repair. In addition it contributes a high amount of leucine that initiates the synthesis of muscular proteins.
One of the main characteristics of casein is that the body absorbs it very slowly compared to whey protein. This makes it ideal for evening snacks and prevents the body from entering a catabolic process (loss of muscle mass) while we sleep.

How to take it?
Take 1 scoop (about 34g) of casein dissolved in 10 ounces of milk or water about 30 minutes before going to sleep. With this dose, we cover our sleep hours with enough nutrients needed to AVOID losing the muscle that costs us so much to build during the day.
Gladiators, in case you want to include casein in your diet, along with Vitamin Shoppe I bring you a special discount of 10% on this product. This promotion will last until next Sunday January 15th, so don’t let it pass; approach the nearest store with the Promocode LAGVS4.
Enjoy it!
